I. Project Introduction

Introduction: This project is a 2+2 HND project (HND UK Higher Education Diploma, i.e. UK College Diploma) jointly organized by Beijing New Bridge Foreign Language School and Telford College, Edinburgh, UK.
China HND Project - an HND project jointly organized by SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority, UK) and the Ministry of Education of China, that is, after three years of study at a local Chinese university, students will obtain the SQA HND certificate, which is a college diploma certificate certified by the Ministry of Education of China. Currently, the universities participating in this project in Beijing include Renmin University of China, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Beijing Institute of Technology.
Academic System: Students complete the study of Business English major at Beijing New Bridge Foreign Language School in 2 years, with an IELTS score of 5.5 or above; then study in the UK for 2 years to complete the study of UK college professional courses.
After studying in Beijing for two years, students can choose one of the following majors to study in the UK:

Completion of studies: Students obtain a vocational high school diploma in Business English in Beijing and an HND certificate issued by SQA in four years.
After obtaining the HND certificate, students can choose to directly enter the University of Napier, Queen Margaret University, University of Sunderland, Middlesex University or other British universities to continue their final year of undergraduate studies.


II. Project Partner - Telford College, Edinburgh, UK

Telford College, Edinburgh, UK was founded in 1968 and is located in the beautiful and ancient Scottish capital of Edinburgh. Telford College, Edinburgh, is the largest national college founded by the British government and is financially supported by the government. It is also one of the colleges with the highest education level and the most influential HND courses in the UK. The college currently has more than 21,000 students, including about 800 full-time international students. The school has 25 disciplines, 35 British higher education diploma courses, and cooperates with 10 countries including Australia to offer HND courses.
The college has rich experience in open teaching, job preparation and reception of international students. The college works closely with the Edinburgh business community, enabling students to obtain more internship opportunities during their school years and have strong employment advantages after graduation. The college has a high-quality teaching system and a complete international college cooperation model. It has won national awards for its remarkable achievements and has been rated as one of the most popular colleges in the UK.

It takes 4 years to complete the study from high school to undergraduate.

Two years in China: Domestic tuition fee is RMB 19,600 per year, total tuition fee is RMB 39,200 for two years

Tuition fee for unpaid internship majors is RMB 60,000 per year
